Flyin' Dutch (2023–): An ongoing art photography self-portrait series that debuted at Art Gaysel 2023 during Miami Art Basel week. Inspired by Pandora & The Flying Dutchman (1951) and editorials from adult gay magazines of the 1970s and 1980s, the project explores themes of fatalistic glamour and desperate longing. With a self-aware and ironic lens, it juxtaposes visual signifiers of masculinity against moments of vulnerability, inviting viewers into an interplay of romance, rebellion, and identity. The series marries the haunting allure of mythic romance with provocative humor, offering a richly layered exploration of desire and self-perception.
